Between You & What Remains examines the structural conditions of intimacy, absence, and relational distance. Through calibrated material arrangements, the installation constructs a spatial syntax in which emotional residue is rendered through form, tension, and interval. Temporal and material elements are treated as active components in a system of negotiation – between presence and erasure, proximity, and separation. The work draws on Gillian Rose’s concept of the “broken middle,” proposing structure as the site where affect takes shape under constraint.
