Projektbeschreibung
"Pixelated Truth" aims to explore and understand the complexities of sensing the truth in the age of screen culture. This project is inspired by the creators' personal experience of truth-making during the strait time. By examining the role of image documentation from the Ukrainian War and image interpretation that infiltrated Taiwan, this project strives to create a better understanding of the world around us and delve deep into visual media which depicts the truth. By breaking down visual media and searching for visual clues with the assistance of AI generated insights, "Pixelated Truth" aims to challenge the biases and presumptions their participants have while deciphering the story behind an image. This project displays the nuances in visual media and how our perceptions impact how we sense the world around us. With subtle altercation, the truth can be produced, shaped, and transformed into belief. With the help of AI tools, "Pixelated Truth" demonstrate the subjectivity of understanding the complexities of the world around us. It challenges the viewers to consider the biases and presumptions while speculating. Audiences are invited to analyze the images and compile their own narrative during the process, and how with the help of AI-generated insights, the project serves as a valuable tool for creating a better understanding of the complexities of the world around us, thanks in part to the advanced AI technology that powers it.
