This speculative artistic component as part of my written thesis translates the theoretical findings into a speculative visual exercise. It reimagines the Postsparkasse through two temporal projections. First, as a hypothetical nineteenth-century manifestation shaped by the moral, spatial, and symbolic logics that preceded its actual construction and second, as a contemporary reinterpretation that reflects the conditions of present-day financial capitalism. The project explores how architectural form might have articulated trust and power under different epistemic regimes, making visible the shifting mechanisms through which financial legitimacy is produced, deliberately exaggerating and reframing architectural cues in order to expose the implicit assumptions embedded in historical and contemporary financial architectures. In doing so, the project adopts a subtly ironic stance as it uses architectural imagination to reveal how claims of transparency, efficiency, and rationality.
