PLASTI.CARE: Transforming Short-lived Plastic into Durable Architecture for Self-care Centers

Projektbeschreibung
In today's fast-paced world, burnout, stress, and mental health issues are on the rise. Consequently, there's a growing cultural emphasis on personal growth, mindfulness, and inner balance. Taking inspiration from the serene qualities of religious/sacred architecture, I propose a SelfCare center designed to nurture these values. Featuring spaces for community interaction, reflection, and tranquility, adorned with art and décor. The project explores these qualities spatially and atmospherically by using recycled plastic as a building material. By seamlessly integrating into the urban landscape, it creates atmospheric spaces that foster self-belief, empowerment, and mental well-being. Welcome to a building where individuals can embark on their journey of self-care and foster communal bonds.
