Who am I? Where am I? What am I? – Expanded Identities in Intercountry Adoption is a Bachelor finalist project in Cross-Disciplinary Strategies. The project examines the reconciliation of identity through a human rights perspective and a cultural understanding of identity. As a "quiet migrant," the adoptee is represented as a "becoming" entity, navigating the unknown parts of their non-linear life story. The transformation of missing roots—a simultaneously lifelong grief—is seen as both: the starting point for this journey and the source of reimagining.
