We have never just been individuals. The bodies of most organisms are nothing more and nothing less than multispecies landscapes. No organism becomes itself without the assistance of others. They exist only through constant interaction with the organisms living in and upon it: a locus of biotic relations and overlapping borders. These modes of exchange and interconnection are visible on all different layers of scale and time and have always been part of a terraforming process shaped through play.
