Reconceptualizing the thresholds of auratic and exchange value in the post-digital art world

Projektbeschreibung
"The reconceptualization of the thresholds of auratic and exchange value in the post-digital art world” is an interactive art object that explores several shifting paradigms of art production, namely ownership and valuation in the aftermath of the digital revolution. This is undertaken with a specific focus on the recent potential impact of blockchain technology and tokenization on such aspects of art valuation and ownership. The audience is invited to dive into the digital sphere of the art piece through their mobile devices by scanning the piece's QR codes. Throughout the festival, viewers are able to bid on the digital research that the physical piece accompanies, dissecting the question of value in the art sphere even further.
